An advice podcast exploring the questions we’ve all asked. We all struggle, mourn, yearn, question, laugh and cry. No matter who we are, at our core, we are all not so different after all, You & I.

May 12th at 3:30 pm PST

In honour of the first anniversary of You & I, we will be hosting a LIVE episode on YouTube and Instagram where we will answer some of the question submissions we haven’t yet explored.

We’ll also be taking audience questions LIVE with two of my closest friends and people I go to regularly for advice: my first guest from episode one, Sandra Birkenhead, a counsellor based in Victoria, BC, and Caroline Boquist, who is the co-owner of Walrus in Vancouver, BC.

This anniversary episode will be my last for a little while. In order to create the space needed to write my book, To You Who Wonders, You & I will be on hiatus. I love all the learning that has come from exploring your questions and I can’t wait to do this LIVE with you.

So do tune in to the anniversary episode on May 12th at 3:30pm PST. Come! Ask anything you want about love, life, loss, dreams, motherhood, hot tips on design, or hair (which funnily enough I get a lot.)

Please join us on YouTube @youandi.podcast and on Instagram @jackiekaiellis.

Can’t wait to see you.

An Update on You & I From Jackie

Recently, we put out a call for submissions for questions to be explored in my upcoming book, To You Who Wonders, an advice column meets memoir. In order to create the space needed to write To You Who Wonders, I have made the decision to place the You & I podcast on hiatus.

Your submissions over this past year have given me immeasurable joy because I have the unique privilege of holding your most private questions, questions we all have — about the unknown, about finding love, about losing love, about wanting something different.

Reading them (and writing about them) is a beautiful reminder of our shared humanity — that we are all not so different from each other, and that one story told with vulnerability can help others see a more compassionate version of their own stories. I know I come away from this year with much more self-compassion than I did in the first episode. It was through exploring your questions that I understood more fully the value of being kinder and gentler to myself, which in turn, inspired this hiatus.

Thank you so much for supporting You & I this year. I look forward to sharing more with you in my upcoming book. In the meantime, stay up to date with everything book and podcast related over @jackiekaiellis on Instagram
